Quests & Challenges

While the Oasis is full of fun and challenging quests, the most obviosly legendary ones are all tied to Halliday's Egg.

The Copper Key Tomb of Horrors 1. Navigate a perfect recreation of the Dungeons & Dragons module “Tomb of Horrors.”
2. Defeat Acererak the Demi-Lich in a best-of-three match of the arcade game Joust.		 The Copper Key and a clue to the Copper Gate
The Copper Gate Dungeons of Daggorath 1. Select and complete the correct classic computer game, Dungeons of Daggorath (TRS-80).
2. Enter the First Gate and perfectly reenact the movie WarGames as the main character, David Lightman.		 A clue to the Jade Key
The Jade Key Frobozz 1. Find and return all 19 treasures from the classic text adventure Zork to a trophy case.
2. Use the Cap’n Crunch whistle to reveal the Jade Key.		 The Jade Key and a clue to the Jade Gate
The Jade Gate The Tyrell Building 1. Insert the Jade Key into a copy of the Voight-Kampff machine.
2. Complete the arcade game Black Tiger as the protagonist.		 A clue to the Crystal Key

The first was ringed in red metal
The second, in green stone
The thrid in clearest crystal
And cannot be unlocked alone
1. Find the temple on the doomed planet Syrinx (from Rush’s 2112).
2. Locate a hidden guitar and play a specific riff from the album, returning it to the altar.		 The Crystal Key and a clue to the Crystal Gate
The Crystal Gate Castle Anorak 1. Unlock the Third Gate using three copies of the Crystal Key (requires teamwork).
2. Inside, beat Halliday’s high score of 728,329 on the arcade game Tempest.
3. Complete a video sync challenge by perfectly reenacting a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail as King Arthur.
4. Find and activate the very first video game Easter Egg in Adventure (Atari 2600).		 Control of the entire OASIS
